Signalman Kushwah Pradip singh

Signalman Kushwah Pradip Singh (22) was from Savitrinagar village in Gujarat. He had  joined the Indian Army in 2013.


Pulwama encounter : 02 Nov 2017


On 2nd November 2017, security forces launched a cordon and search operation in the Samboora village of Pampore area in the Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir  following information about the presence of the militants  there.  In the evening the militants started firing on the security forces and a fierce encounter  between militants and security forces started.   Signalman Kushwah Pradip Singh received gunshots in the ensuing encounter and succumbed to the injury. India lost another brave heart in the line of duty.


Signal-man Kushwah Pradip Singh is survived by his parents and a brother.
