As received from his coursemate Brig Akshay Kapila, retd:
2/LT S. DAGUR, 1 SIKH, on 23 Oct withdraws with the battalion from MILAKTONGLA and then deployed at SELA. On 18 Nov he is killed with his entire platoon while attacking a Chinese ambush in area NUKMEDONG. A true example of junior leadership , he is still an unsung hero of his course.
