    A great son of India…born to Lt. Col & Mrs Girdhari Singh ( MC. Vrc & Bar )in November 1939, he was schooled at the Welham boys school, the Doon school -Dehradun and later at the Lawrence school in Sanawar. He was trained at the prestigious National Defence Academy , Khadakvasla ( Pune ) India.He was commissioned into the 4th Rajput regiment.In November 1962 fighting the Chinese,he was declared to be dead.
